In partnership with Alfa Laval, we hosted a customer site visit in Sweden. This included the gasketed plate heat exchanger manufacturing facility in Ronneby and their global headquarters in Lund. We are the UK & Ireland authorised distributor of industrial refrigeration supplies for Alfa Laval.
Alfa Laval are a leading global provider of first-rate products in the areas of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling. They help enhance the productivity and competitiveness of their customers in various industries throughout the world. Their products are currently covered by over 2500 patents. This is due to continuous innovation, investment and development. Employing over 17000 employees, their heat exchangers are used within refrigeration applications in food, chemical, power, marine and engineering sectors worldwide.
During the informative, two-day, customer site visit, Alfa Laval showcased their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. They also explained how they actively reduce their carbon footprint through operational changes. This is part of their four pillar sustainability strategy – Caring, Committed, Circularity & Climate. This customer site visit was a great learning opportunity. All that went advised that they were impressed by the professionalism and commitment of all of the staff we met.
